For the 2006 – 2007 year, new priorities that will benefit members even more are:
  •  The launching of our new SWPA Web site increasing the communication, resources and opportunities for SWPA members
•  A strengthened professional development program under the skilled and experienced leadership of Dr. Jerri Killian, Associate Professor and MPA Program Director at Wright State University
•  The publication of SWPA 's Profiles of Outstanding Women in Public Administration in collaboration with ASPA giving SWPA even greater visibility
•  Increased opportunities for participation at the National Conference in Washington, DC, March 23-27, 2007 focusing on “Monumental Possibilities: Capitalizing on Collaboration”

To join SWPA, you first need to be a member of ASPA. If you have not yet joined ASPA, please visit the ASPA Web site and sign up, making SURE to select the SWPA membership too! At $17 for SWPA membership, it is a bargain indeed. If you are already a member of ASPA, be sure and join SWPA when your membership comes up for renewal or notify the national office of your desire to join.
