
Scholarships
ASPA awards two scholarships annually, the Natacha Seijas "Women in Public Service" and the ASPA South Florida Chapter General Scholarship.
The Natacha Seijas "Women in Public Service" Scholarship Award, in the amount of $1000, is limited to female students, while the ASPA South Florida General Scholarship Award, also for $1000, is open to either gender.
For both scholarships, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to public service, through voluntary community work or other participation in community organizations or activities. Students must complete a scholarship application, show proof of enrollment in a college or university in South Florida, hold at least a 3.0 GPA, provide two letters of recommendations, and write an essay on a given topic.

Fund Raising
The Society sponsors regional, sectional and national conferences as well as local chapter meetings addressing a variety of public administration topics and is currently embarking on a national effort to raise $100,000 to fund a program aimed at providing additional services to new professionals.
