Preet Bassi started her education in her native country of Ireland before moving to the United States in 1995. She graduated in 2002 from the University of California Davis with a B.A. in both Economics and Political Science and a minor in Education. She is currently working towards her Master in Public Administration from the University of Southern California and will be graduating in May 2004. She currently serves as a program coordinator at the USC Sacramento Center, coordinating leadership development programs for the center. She also works part-time for the California State Assembly Committee on Governmental Organization. She hopes to continue working in the public sector in Sacramento once she graduates.
