Adam Sutkus

Adam Sutkus serves as the director of the newly established Volunteer Emergency Management and Homeland Security Unit of Governor's Office on Service and Volunteerism (GO SERV). In his role with GO SERV, Adam manages the Citizen Corps and Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) programs, which train and coordinate volunteer efforts during disasters to include terrorist attacks. Before assuming this role, Adam worked at the Governor's Office of Emergency Services as a Program Manager in the Executive Programs and State Operations division. Prior to working at the Governor's Office, Adam was selected nationally as a Presidential Management Intern Fellow, and held positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. Adam received his Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and has a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of Southern California's Washington, D.C. Public Affairs Center.
