Federal Employees: Help Needed With Research Project

Carol Rusaw (acrusaw@att.net ) is conducting research on how professionals see their careers since the implementation of the CSRA in 1978. The research is being conducted as part of a symposium on changes in government since the CSRA and will be published next year under the editorship of Jim Perry and Meridith Newman. She hopes to have an introductory piece written by President Jimmy Carter to create a context. She has chosen professional development because of her role as an employee development specialist in the federal government for 10 years and the subsequent research she has done in management and organizational development in the public sector.

If you would like to participate in the study, read the research background (Word doc) and complete the questionnaire (Word doc).

Carol will follow up with respondees and, of course, will keep all information confidential and anonymous. I will be glad to share a copy of the results with chapter members when the study is published.

If you have any questions, contact Carol at acrusaw@att.net
