Along with monthly meetings, the Northern Virginia Chapter hosts several special events each year for members and the entire public administration community.

The Northern Virginia Chapter’s annual Awards Banquet will be held on June 28th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Marco Polo Restaurant in Vienna. This will be a great opportunity for ASPA members to gather in fellowship and recognize achievement in the field of Public Administration.

This year’s speaker is Dr. Paul Posner who will speak about Recapturing Public Trust in Public Service. The evening will also feature presentation of Chapter Awards and installation of Chapter Officers and Council Members.

The cost for the evening is $26 per person.  The schedule of events is as follows:

The American Society for Public Administration was formed in 1939 and is the premier professional association for public administrators in the United States. Our chapter is a voluntary association of interested individuals from government, nonprofit, academia, and private sector organizations dedicated to promoting recognition for public service, providing professional development opportunities, and offering technical assistance to area public administrators.
