Tiffany Hixson

Tiffany Hixson is currently Acting Executive Deputy Director of the Secure Border Initiative at DHS. Previously, she worked for the Department of Commerce for 15 years, where she served as the Director for Commerce Acquisition Solutions. Ms. Hixson is a graduate of American University’s Key Executive Master of Public Administration Program. She has coauthored several articles on the merits of streamlined and innovative acquisition programs and other subjects. Ms. Hixson is the recipient of Commerce’s Bronze and Silver Medal awards, the National Performance Review’s Hammer Award, and honored by Government Computer News for her work on the COMMITS program.
