Jerry Hanley is Acting Director, Office of Resource Management, and Director, Personal Property Management Division, at the United States Department of Energy.  Previously, he served as a senior manager at the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Homeland Security.  He is the Director, Legislative Affairs, for the National Property Management Association (NPMA) and serves as Executive Vice President of the Federal Center Chapter of the NPMA.  In 1997 he retired from the United States Army where he served in the Army Rangers for more than 12 years.  He is the recipient of numerous military awards and a variety of civil service and private sector awards.  He received his Juris Doctorate (cum laude) from New England School of Law and his master’s in public administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
