Welcome to the Greater Cincinnati ASPA Chapter!

Welcome to the Greater Cincinnati Area Chapter of ASPA web site. GCC-ASPA hopes our site will provide existing and perspective members with current information on chapter events and activities. Membership in ASPA is open to anyone involved in the field of public administration, including federal, state, and local government employment, education, and nonprofit management. Our mission is to provide practioners, academicians, and students informative, professional development programs and network opportunities. The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of ASPA serves the following Ohio counties: Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren; the following Indiana counties:Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland, and Union; and Kentucky counties: Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen, and Pendleton.

The American Society for Public Administration was formed in 1939 and is the premier professional association for public administrators in the United States. Our chapter is a voluntary association of interested individuals from government, nonprofit, academia, and private sector organizations dedicated to promoting recognition for public service, providing professional development opportunities, and offering technical assistance to area public administrators.

    Benefits of a Student Membership

    If you are a student enrolled in a college or university in the United States, membership in the Society is available for a maximum of three years. Benefits include online access to the ASPA Career Center, Public Administration links, a subscription to the PA Times - our monthly newspaper and to The Bridge - the bi-monthly electronic newsletter and Professional Development Opportunities such as annual conference panels, Web resources, and publications.
