GCC-ASPA's Public Administrator of the Year Awards Nomination Time!

Each year the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (GCC-ASPA) honors outstanding individuals for their work in the field of public administration including government, educational institutions, and non-profits. This is your opportunity to nominate a colleague who you feel is deserving of this recognition. The Greater Cincinnati Chapter of ASPA was started in 1994 and serves Southwestern Ohio (Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton and Warren counties), Southeastern Indiana (Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland and Union counties), and Northern Kentucky (Boone, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Owen and Pendleton counties). Nominees may come from any of these areas. The nomination categories for this year include: Program Excellence, Individual Contributor, Career Achievement, Early Careerist, Support Services, and Student Award. You can find the criteria for these categories and the nomination form attached to this e-mail. Nominations are sought for individuals working in both small and large organizations. Chapter membership is not required to nominate or be nominated for an award. Nominees and those selected to receive awards will be honored during GCC-ASPA's Public Administrator of the Year Awards Banquet on April 23, 2010 at the Phoenix located in downtown Cincinnati. Award recipients will be recognized on Centennial Plaza as part of Public Service Recognition Week traditionally held during the first week of May. We encourage you to help recognize outstanding public servants and to support public service as a whole by submitting a nomination, by attending the Public Administrator of the Year Awards Banquet on April 23, 2010 and by participating in Public Service Recognition Week activities.
