Upcoming UN sponsored Conferences relating to the UN
Convention against Corruption

The 1st Conference of State Parties for the UN Convention against
Corruption will be held December 10-14 in Amman, Jordan. For more

The conference, "Building Trust in Government: The 7th Global Forum on
Reinventing Government" to be held at the United Nations Headquarters
in Vienna, Austria 26-29 June 2007. The last meeting of this forum took
place in Seoul, South Korea with more than 7,000 attending. For more

International Anti-corruption Day

On 9 December is the International Anti-corruption day. This is an
annual event to recognize that we all have a personal responsibility to

New Editor of Ethics Today

Rod Erakovich has been appointed as the new Editor of Ethics Today, our
Section newsletter. Rod teaches public and health administration at
Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. He is also
involved with the University of Texas at Arlington Center for
International Research, Education and Development. He has worked
extensively with PA Centers in Ukraine, Serbia and Montenegro. Section

deadline extended

Deadline for submission of papers proposals for the Transatlantic
Workshop on Ethics and Integrity 2007 has been extended to 15 November
