
Dr. Meine assumed the Directorship of the former Troy University Florida Region, on August 1, 1999. He previously served the University as the Department Chair for Public Administration, as the Academic Director of Troy University's Atlantic Region, and as member of the Public Administration Faculty.
Dr. Meine has been teaching at the college and university level for over twenty years. Prior to pursuing an academic career, Dr. Meine, a graduate of the FBI National Academy, served as a Special Agent for a Defense investigative agency where he managed various investigative units throughout the world. His previous professional positions also include, supervising personal security for the Secretary of Defense, personnel management at Departmental Level and investigative and training policy positions.
Dr. Meine's education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska; a Master of Arts Degree from John Jay College, City University of New York; and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
