About Us
The Coastal Bend Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration was chartered on July 23, 2007 serving Aransas, Kleberg, Jim Wells, Nueces, and San Patricio counties.
The chapter is one of over 100 chapters in ASPA, the nation’s most respected society representing all forums in the public service arena since 1939.
ASPA’s mission is to advance the art, science, teaching and practice of public and nonprofit administration through its programs and services, and fosters core public service values including: accountability and performance, professionalism, social equity, and ethics at the local, national and international levels.
